Winner of two Hong Kong Dance Awards (2003, 2006) for his outstanding dance performance, and awarded Best Artist (Dance) at the Hong Kong Arts Development Awards 2009, Yang Yuntao is an accomplished dancer and choreographer. He joined the Hong Kong Dance Company (HKDC) in 2002 as Principal Dancer. He was the company's Assistant Artistic Director from 2007 and has been its Artistic Director since November 2013.

Yang has choreographed for various dance companies. His award-winning choreography for HKDC includes: Spring Ritual·Eulogy, winner of Outstanding Achievement in Production at the Hong Kong Dance Awards 2013 and presented in Beijing and Taipei in 2013; The Legend of Mulan, winner of Outstanding Production and Outstanding Ensemble Performance at the 2014 Hong Kong Dance Awards and presented in New York, Sydney, London and Minsk in 2015, 2017 and 2019 respectively; Storm Clouds, winner of three awards including Outstanding Achievement in Production at the 2015 Hong Kong Dance Awards; L'Amour Immortel, winner of three awards at the 2016 Hong Kong Dance Awards, presented in Beijing and Guangzhou in 2017, in Taipei in 2018 and in Shanghai and Hangzhou in 2019; and Waiting Heart, winner of Outstanding Medium Venue Production at the 2019 Hong Kong Dance Award.

Other works for HKDC include The Butterfly Lovers (presented in Seoul in 2016), Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Voices and Dances of the Distant Land, Blanc in Reveries of the Red Chamber, Chinese Hero: A Lone Exile, In the Beginning in Vipassana, Lady White of West Lake. A graduate of the Guangdong Dance Academy's Chinese Dance Performance and Education Department, Ke Zhiyong was a silver medalist at the 1996 Guangdong Province Dance Competition. He has also won multiple accolades at the Taoli Cup Dance Competition: recognition of excellence in the Youth (B) category (1994); gold medal in the Youth (A) category (1997) and third prize at the Young Adult category (2000). Ke was a recipient of the 2005 Hong Kong Dance Award.

A member of the Hong Kong Dance Company since 2001, Ke was promoted to Senior Dancer in 2007. Two years later, Ke enrolled at the Beijing Dance Academy in Chinese classical dance pedagogy, receiving a professional certificate in the discipline. Between 2010 and 2012, Ke served as guest instructor in the Chinese Dance division of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. He is currently Dance Master at the Hong Kong Dance Company. Ke has performed in more than 40 dance dramas, mainly in lead roles. He was assistant choreographer of many dance dramas. He was also co-choreographer of Joseph Koo's Classic Melodies and the children's dance dramas Childhood Wonderland, Magical Adventures of Baby Polar Bear and the 12 Zodiac Animals, Saturday Whispers and artistic coordinator of Fun Ride with Big Beard - Dancing Poems and Dancing World – The Story of a Blissful Tribe.

Xie Yin joined the Hong Kong Dance Company in 2002 as Principal Dancer. She has tried her hand at choreography since 2005. She won the Hong Kong Dance Awards for her co-choreographic works in 2006 and 2009. In 2012, her work Dawn received the Bronze Award at the Bauhinia Cup International Invitational Competition. Xie was invited by the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts to create And the Thunder Sings, and choreographed Lotus for the Hong Kong Ballet.

Xie was Associate Choreographer of HKDC's dance dramas The Legend of Mulan, Storm Clouds, L'Amour Immortel, Chinese Hero: A Lone Exile, Lady White of West Lake as well as Artistic Coordinator of several productions for HKDC's Children's and Youth Troupes. Her most recent work was Four Seasons in Tale of Three Cities. She performed the principal role in the musical A Tale of the Southern Sky in 2020.

Xie was appointed Artistic Coordinator and Instructor of HKDC's Youth Troupe in 2012.  She was a guest lecturer at the Chinese Dance Department of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts from 2012 to 2014. She was appointed Dance Master of the Hong Kong Dance Company in 2014 and promoted to Assistant Artistic Director in 2021.

Pan Lingjuan graduated from the Beijing Dance Academy, majoring in Chinese Classical Dance. Apart from being awarded scholarships three years in a row, she has toured to France, Canada, Spain, the Netherlands, Oman, Korea, Belgium, and Ireland (invited by the Irish Embassy in 2009). She has won numerous awards including the third prize in the National Dance Competition in 2001, the CCTV Dance Award Commendable Dancer Award in 2002, the third prize in the 9^th Beijing Dance Competition, and the third prize in the Guizhou Dance Competition.

Pan joined the Hong Kong Dance Company in 2011 and her performances in principal roles include Plateau Bluebells, Masquerade, The Legend of Mulan, Storm Clouds, The Butterfly Lovers, L'Amour Immortel, Chinese Hero: A Lone Exile, Waiting Heart and Liu San Jie.

She was awarded “Outstanding Performance by a Female Dancer” at the 2017 Hong Kong Dance Awards for her performance in Chinese Hero: A Lone Exile.

Huang Lei graduated from the Beijing Dance Academy. He joined the Hong Kong Dance Company in 2001 and has performed major roles in Dream Dances, Water Margin, Princess Changpin, Everlasting Love, Seven Sages of the Bamboo Grove, Spring Ritual．Eulogy, The Legend of Mulan, The Butterfly Lovers, Chinese Hero: A Lone Exile and Lady White of West Lake. He choreographed the “8/F Platform” productions Min Jian Chuan Qi, Dancers' Creation, Silk-Stocking Milk Tea, Embrace and Dancing Seoul to Soul – Korea．Hong Kong．Encounter. He was Assistant Choreographer for Desperately Seeking Miss Blossom, Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Dance of Strings and A Tale of the Southern Sky, and Associate Choreographer for Voices and Dances of the Distant Land. He is also a researcher of HKDC's Research study on Chinese martial arts and Chinese dance. Huang has been invited to choreograph and perform for the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra, Hong Kong Sinfonietta, Zuni Icosahedron, Tang Shu-wing Theatre Studio, New Vision Arts Festival, Hong Kong Arts Festival and the International Dance Duet Festival in Seoul.

Huang has received three Hong Kong Dance Awards: for his co-choreography of Min Jian Chuan Qi (2006), and for his performance in Dream Dances (2007) and Everlasting Love (2010). He was awarded the Asian Cultural Council's International Choreographer Residence Scholarship to participate in the American Dance Festival in 2010. In the same year, he was also awarded the Hong Kong Arts Development Award for Young Artist (Dance).

Tang Ya majored in Chinese Classical Dance at the Beijing Dance Academy. She was awarded several scholarships and outstanding student awards, and toured in the US, France, Japan, Singapore and Korea. Awards include the gold prize in the 23rd International Arts Festival in Korea; the Best Performance Award in a dance competition organized by CCTV; and the Jury’s Award in the 5th National Dance Competition. Tang joined Hong Kong Dance Company (HKDC) in 2005, and has played lead roles such as Miao Ruolan in Snow Fox, Xiaolongnü in Eagle Companions, Su Shi’s wife in Poet Dongpo, Nymph of the Bian River in Qingming Riverside, a pas de deux in Two Swallows–Ode to Wu Guanzhong, Ji Kang in Seven Sages of the Bamboo Grove, Li Lingdi in Evacuation Order, Bluebell in Plateau Bluebells, solo and pas de deux in Feng Shui, Young Woman in Joseph Koo’s Dance Melodies 2013, Chen in Masquerade, Madame Bai in The Butterfly Lovers, and Chieftain Maichi’s Wife in Red Poppies in 2014. In 2011, she received the Award for Young Artist (Dance) from the Hong Kong Arts Development Council.

Chen Rong graduated from the affiliated school of the Beijing Dance Academy before entering the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts on a full scholarship. He joined the Hong Kong Dance Company in 2002. Three years later, he received an Asian Cultural Council scholarship sponsored by Citibank, which enabled him to take classes at The Ailey School in New York. He has performed major roles in The Smiling, Proud Wanderer; Angel Falls; The Legend of Mulan; Qingming Riverside; Feng Shui; Red Poppies; L'Amour Immortel and A Tale of the Southern Sky. He has also choreographed Dancing Emotions and Fly for the “8/F Platform”.

Chen received the Hong Kong Dance Award in 2008 for his portrayal of Hu Le in Angel Falls and Dongfang Bubai in The Smiling, Proud Wanderer.

Graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts in 2000, Hua Chi-yu joined the Hong Kong Dance Company in 2001. She has performed main and principal roles in many HKDC productions including Dream Dances, Desperately Seeking Miss Blossom, Princess Changping, Everlasting Love, Eagle Companions, Painted Face, Red Poppies and Lady White of West Lake. Hua performed the principal role in Red Poppies at the 8^th China Arts Festival in Wuhan and also performed at the 2008 and 2012 Hong Kong New Vision Arts Festival, and 2012 Hong Kong Arts Festival. She choreographed for Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra's 35^th Anniversary Season Opening Concert Ode to Water.

Her performances in Thunderstorm (2012 New Vision Arts Festival), The Butterfly Lovers and Lady White of West Lake won her three Hong Kong Dance Awards – “Outstanding Performance by a Female Dancer” in 2013, 2015 and 2018 respectively. Hua was promoted to Principal Dancer in 2019.

Li Han graduated from the Department of Chinese Folk Dance at the Beijing Dance Academy in 2007, majoring in performance and education. At the 8th Taoli Cup National Dance Competition in Beijing in 2006, his performance of Dai Dance In the Forest and his Korean-style dance combination earned him the Outstanding Solo Performance Award. He also won top honours for his performance in the Tibetan group dance The Nearest Person to the Sun. Li then studied at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, where he achieved a Master of Fine Arts degree in 2009. During his MFA studies he was awarded the Asian Cultural Council Scholarship, sponsored by Citibank, to study at the prestigious Ailey School of Dance in New York.

Li joined the Hong Kong Dance Company in 2010. He has performed principal roles in Masquerade, Storm Clouds, The Legend of Mulan (2015), L'Amour Immortel, Chinese Hero: A Lone Exile, Lady White of West Lake and Liu San Jie.

He was awarded “Outstanding Performance by a Male Dancer” at the 2015 Hong Kong Dance Awards for his performance in L'Amour Immortel. In 2007, he was invited by renowned choreographer Wayne McGregor to take part in a residency programme in London. He is currently Principal Dancer at the Hong Kong Dance Company.

A graduate of the Guangzhou Dance School’s Chinese dance department, He Chaoya received a full scholarship to study at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. He won the gold medals at the Guangdong Song of Youth Dance Competition and the Guangzhou Architecture Cup National Social Dance Competition (Youth category).

He Chaoya joined the Hong Kong Dance Company in 2007. He was featured in pas de deux in Dance Roots, Two Swallows – Ode to Wu Guanzhong, Pop Classics: Joseph Koo’s Dance Melodies 2013, Dream of the Past: Ancient Chinese Court Dances and Kaleidoscope of Dance from Yunnan, as well as main roles in Plateau Bluebells, Red Poppies (2014) and the musical A Tale of the Southern Sky. He was associate choreographer of Night Thoughts and Infinity Awaits in Choreographers’ Showcase 2016-17 and Empty Awakening in Hong Kong Cool 2018 presented by the Hong Kong Ballet, and was Deputy Artistic Coordinator for HKDC Children’s & Youth Troupes’ dance drama Dancing World – The Story of a Blissful Tribe in 2019.

He Yongning graduated from Guangdong Dance School majoring in Chinese dance, and obtained a Bachelor's degree with first class honours from the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts in 2011. She received several awards and scholarships during her studies. She joined the Hong Kong Dance Company in 2012.

He's solo dance piece Hesitate garnered the Gold Award and Outstanding Female Dancer Award at the Bauhinia Cup International Invitational Competition 2013. She was invited to perform at the first Open Dance event at the Jao Tsung-I Academy in 2014, the Beppu Contemporary Arts Festival 2015, the NDA 1st Asian Solo & Duo Challenge for MASDANZA 2016 in Seoul and i-Dance Festival Opening 2016. In 2017, renowned choreographer Wayne McGregor invited He to take part in a residency programme in London. Other choreography works include Incite, Elysium, Riding River, Cloud Water, Tiger, Thug, and 4 Times 13=? and 0 for Hong Kong Dance Company's 8/F Platform.

Born in Hong Kong, Ho Ho-fei graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts majoring in Chinese dance with a minor in choreography in 2009. While at the Academy, Ho received several scholarships and received a bronze medal at the 4th Shenzhen Modern Dance Competition and a gold medal at the 3rd National Minority Performance Gala.

Ho joined the Hong Kong Dance Company in 2010. Recent performance highlights include major roles in Journey to the Wild West, Red Poppies (2014), Magical Adventures of Baby Polar Bear and the 12 Zodiac Animals, Chinese Hero: A Lone Exile, Dream of the Past: Ancient Chinese Court Dances, Dim Sum Adventures @ Lung Fung Teahouse 2.0, A Sea of Smiling LT Ducks and A Tale of the Southern Sky. Ho was invited by the Hong Kong Ballet to perform in The Nutcracker. He has choreographed for “8/F Platform” - Fly and for the Hong Kong Dance Alliance's “2010 Dance Platform”. He was also co-choreographer of The Great River and Fire Dragon for the Association of Hong Kong Dance Organizations. His work Protect received the gold medal in the pas de deux category at the 2013 Hong Kong Bauhinia Cup International Dance Invitation Competition. Ho was promoted to Senior Dancer at HKDC in May 2019. He is also a researcher of HKDC's Research study on Chinese martial arts and Chinese dance.

Ho graduated from the Guangdong Dance School with a major in Chinese dance in 1996, and was an ensemble lead in the large-scale dance drama Huang Tu Huang. The same year, he performed in the opera Turandot in Hong Kong. Ho joined the Hong Kong Dance Company in 1997, and has performed major roles in Angel Falls, Border Town, Red Poppies, Journey to the Wild West, Shao Nian You, Saturday Whispers, Dim Sum Adventures@Lung Fung Teahouse 2.0, Fun Ride with Big Beard – Dancing Poems and A Tale of the Southern Sky. 

Apart from dancing, Ho is also a competent MC and moderator.

A graduate of the Sichuan Vocational College of Art, Kwong Lai-ping had also studied at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. During her academic years, she received the Dr David S H Chu LLP, JP Scholarship and the South China Morning Post Best Student Dancer Award. She participated in the 9th Taoli Cup Dance Competition held in Shenyang, winning third prize in the ensemble category. Kwong joined the Hong Kong Dance Company in April 2012.

Performances in major roles include The Legend of Tsuen Wan, HK Style China Dance, The Butterfly Lovers, solo in Kaleidoscope of Dance from Yunnan, Dream of the Past: Ancient Chinese Court Dances and Ode to the Silk Road.

Kwong was awarded a full scholarship by the Hong Kong Jockey Club Music and Dance Fund in 2019 to pursue a one-year Master of Arts in Dance and Creative Enterprise programme at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance in the UK.

Born in Hong Kong, Lam Yin-yi graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Chinese Dance with first-class honours at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA), garnering numerous awards along the way. During her academic years, Lam received the Outstanding Student Award, Dean of Dance Prize and the Disney Scholarship twice. In 2010, she received a scholarship to hone her modern dance skills and perform at the American Dance Festival. In 2014, she represented the HKAPA at the Taipei International Dance Festival.

After graduating from the HKAPA, Lam worked as a principal dancer in the Lion King show in Hong Kong Disneyland. In 2014, she received the Gold Award in the solo dance category in the Hong Kong Bauhinia Cup Competition. She joined the Hong Kong Dance Company in the same year. Recent performance highlights include the title role in The Legend of Mulan (2015), Drum-top Dance in Dream of the Past: Ancient Chinese Court Dances, Hong Kong Repertory Theatre's Field of Dreams, pas de deux in Fluttering Hearts in Kaleidoscope of Dance from Yunnan, Electric Girl, Tale of Three Cities, “8/F Platform” Neon, pas de deux in Lift Your Veil in Ode to the Silk Road, and A Tale of the Southern Sky.

Upon graduation at the Beijing Dance Academy in 2008, Li Xiaomeng was accepted to study at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and performed major roles in many productions during her school years.

Having joined the Hong Kong Dance Company in 2010, Li has performed in such productions as Dance Roots, Qingming Riverside, Two Swallows-Ode to Wu Guanzhong, Seven Sages of the Bamboo Grove, Evacuation Order, Spring Ritual · Eulogy, Plateau Bluebells, Feng Shui, pas de deux “Hometown” in Pop Classics: Joseph Koo’s Dance Melodies 2013 and pas des trois “Cradle on the Yak’s Back” in Glamour of Chinese Ethnic Dance. Li participated in the Tang Shu Wing Theatre Studio’s Thunderstorm in 2014 (Taipei’s Kuandu Arts Festival) and Beijing’s National Centre for the Performing Arts “12 Days of Chinese Dance”.

Born in Hong Kong, Lin Chun-na graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts in 2005 majoring in Chinese Dance. She was awarded the Jackie Chan Charitable Foundation Scholarship and the HSBC scholarship, and participated in exchange activities in Prague, the United Kingdom and China. She joined Hong Kong Dance Company in 2007. Main performances include solo in Dance Roots, main roles in Journey to the Wild West and Mulan in Dance Appreciation．Aesthetic Appeal. Her choreographic work Seven Years was featured in “8/F Platform”— Fly. She also serves as Instructor for Hong Kong Dance Company's evening dance courses and Children's and Youth Troupes.

Born in Hong Kong, Tai Wing Chun graduated from the the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA) in 2020 and joined the Hong Kong Dance Company as Apprentice.  During her academic years, she received numerous scholarships, went on study and cultural exchange trips to France and Germany, and performed in Beijing, Macau and Malaysia with the Academy. She performed solo in Yellow Earth Yellow River at the School of Dance Fall Performance, and the lead role Lin Daiyu in The Dream of Red Chamber.

As a talented teen dancer, Tai performed with HKDC's Youth Troupe at the China-Asean Youth Dance Performance & Exchange, and The Achievement Exhibition of the 11th Taoli Cup: National Dancing Education Performance of China.

Liu Chengjun joined Hong Kong Dance Company in 2011 after his graduation from the Nanjing Arts School. He danced the lead in Plum Blossom Garden, which won the Performance Awards in the 7th National Dance Competition (2010) and the 2008 Huadong City Gold Prize. He also played the lead role in the 2009 Celebratory Performance for the 10th Anniversary of the Macao Handover, Flying to the Moon. He has performed in Qingming Riverside, Two Swallows—Ode to Wu Guanzhong, Seven Sages of the Bamboo Grove, Evacuation Order, Spring Ritual‧Eulogy, Plateau Bluebells, Pop Classic Joseph Koo’s Dance Melodies 2013, Feng Shui, Masquerade, The Legend of Mulan, and Glamour of Chinese Ethnic Dance (pas de deux), and as the Elder Son in Red Poppies.

Of Hui ethnicity, Mi Tao graduated from the secondary school affiliated with the Beijing Dance Academy. He then received a scholarship to further his study at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. He joined HKDC upon graduation and has performed major and principal roles in many productions, which include The Smiling, Proud Wanderer; Snow Fox; Seven Sages of the Bamboo Grove; Eagle Companions; Storm Clouds; Lady White of West Lake and L'Amour Immortel.

He also choreographed and performed in the “8/F Platform” programmes Min Jian Chuan Qi, Silk-Stocking Milk Tea, Fly and Dancing Emotions.

His choreographic work Zhu Shuizhao was awarded Bronze Award and Merit Award at Bauhinia Cup Hong Kong Dance Championships 2016.

Peng Rongrong graduated from Guangdong Dance Academy in 2001 and from Huanan College of Arts in 2004. While still a student, she was a dancer in the Guangdong Art Troupe. Her starring role in Women Square won her the Guangdong Dance Gala Competition Gold Award and the Guangdong Province Choice Repertoire Distinction Award, and she received the Third Grade Prize in the National Dance Drama Competition and Silver Award in Guangdong Province Arts Festival for her performance in Guangzhou Memoir (2009). She took the Professional Diploma course at the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts in 2004 and joined Hong Kong Dance Company in 2005. She has played Cheng Lingsu in Snow Fox, Shu Ling in Angel Falls, Wang Rong in Seven Sages of the Bamboo Grove, Qingming Riverside, Everlasting Love, Eagle Companions, The Legend of Mulan, Glamour of Chinese Ethnic Dance (pas de deux), and Tana in Red Poppies.

After graduating from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, Poon Ka-man received the Society of APA Scholarship and the HSBC Scholarship to further her studies at Beijing Dance Academy. Her solo dance piece, Solitary Valley and Orchid, won the jury’s special prize in the Taoli Cup Dance Competition. She joined Hong Kong Dance Company in 2001, and has performed in Dream Dances, Qingming Riverside, Princess Changping, Li Mochou in Eagle Companions. She was lead dancer in Two Swallows—Ode to Wu Guanzhong.

Sun Gongwei studied at the affiliated middle school of Beijing Dance Academy, and was a runner-up in the Chinese Classical Dance category (Youth Division A) of the 8th Taoli Cup Dance Competition in 2006. In the same year he received a full scholarship to study Chinese traditional dance at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA). While at the Academy, Sun participated in Hong Kong Dance Company (HKDC)’s China tour of Qingming Riverside, performed the main role in 8/F Platform’s Feng Shui, and represented the Academy at a European Dance Forum in Monaco. After his graduation in 2010, Sun joined the National Ballet of Portugal. A year later, he returned to the HKAPA to further his studies in contemporary dance. After joining HKDC in 2012, Sun played the principal role in Spring Ritual．Eulogy. The following year, he performed a solo dance and pas de deux in Feng Shui. Sun’s portrayal of Bo Ging-wan in Storm Clouds won him “Outstanding Performance by A Male Dancer” at the 2015 Hong Kong Dance Awards.

Tong Chi-man graduated with a Bachelor's degree with first class honours in Chinese Dance at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA) in 2015. He has received numerous scholarships including the Spring-time Stage Productions Scholarship for three consecutive years, as well as the HSBC Mainland China Exchange Scholarship and William Au Arts Education Scholarship. He first joined the Hong Kong Dance Company under the Hong Kong Arts Development Council's Artistic Internship Scheme. He has performed in The Legend of Mulan, Magical Adventures of Baby Polar Bear and The 12 Zodiac Animals, L'Amour Immortel, Dream of the Past: Ancient Chinese Court Dances, Storm Clouds, Dunhuang Reflections, Chinese Hero: A Lone Exile and Lady White of West Lake.

Wang Yingyu graduated from the Beijing Dance Academy, where she majored in Chinese Classical Dance and Dunhuang Dance in 2009. During her studies, she was in charge of the Academy’s Dunhuang dance research programme. She performed at the 2007 United Nations World Summit in Austria, Germany and France, and in 2008, was a team leader and VIP receptionist at the Beijing Olympics Opening Ceremony. In the same year, she performed in European director Jonathan Weintraub’s Maria Magdelena. She was awarded the Academy’s First Prize Scholarship from 2005 to 2007 and the National Scholarship in 2007–2008. She joined Hong Kong Dance Company in 2009, with major performances including a pas de deux in Two Swallows—Ode to Wu Guanzhong, roles in Masquerade and the children’s dance drama Journey to Wild West.

Lai graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts with a degree with honours in 2020, and joined Hong Kong Dance Company as Apprentice. During her studies, she won the HSBC Hong Kong Scholarship, BVLGARI Performing Arts Scholarships, The Ohel Synagogue Charity Undergraduate Scholarships and The Society of APA Local Scholarships. She performed in Malaysia, Beijing and Macau with the Academy. She also performed solo as The Mother of Earth in Yellow Earth Yellow River at the School of Dance Fall Performance.

She joined HKDC's Youth Troupe in 2011 and was an assistant instructor with the Children's Troupe.  She has performed in several family dance dramas, including the lead role Sheep in Magical Adventures of Baby Polar Bear and the 12 Zodiac Animals.  She also performed in Dazzling Desert at The Achievement Exhibition of the 11th Taoli Cup: National Dancing Education Performance of China in 2016.

Zhan Qian joined the Hong Kong Dance Company upon graduating from the Guangdong Dance School in 2008. Performance highlights include Seven Sages of the Bamboo Grove, Mulan in The Legend of Mulan, pas des deux in Glamour of Chinese Ethnic Dance, The Legend of Tsuen Wan and Kaleidoscope of Dance from Yunnan, pas de trois in Dream of the Past: Ancient Chinese Court Dances, Chieftain Maichi's wife in Red Poppies and solo in Ode to the Silk Road. She is also a researcher of HKDC's Research study on Chinese martial arts and Chinese dance.

Her choreographic works include Protect, which won the Gold Medal in the pas de deux category at the 2013 Hong Kong Bauhinia Cup International Dance Invitation Competition; 8/F Platform – Fly and Revelry of Tea – Cha Siu Bao in the family dance drama Dim Sum Adventures @ Lung Fung Teahouse.

Huang Wenjie graduated from the Beijing Dance Academy's Chinese Ethnic and Folk Dance Department. She was awarded numerous scholarships during her studies. In 2012, she won the Second Prize, Chinese Ethnic and Folk Dance Section, at the 10th Taoli Cup Dance Competition for her solo performance You are My Heart. In 2013, she won the Third Prize for Creativity at the 10th National Dance Competition with her choreographic work Capriccio in Erquan. In 2015, she was awarded the Bronze Prize at the 12th Seoul International Dance Competition and the Second Prize at the 14th Beijing Dance Competition for her performance in Yao's Sentiments with Flower Stick. In 2016, she received the Silver Prize at Beijing Dance Academy's Chinese Ethnic and Folk Dance Technique Competition. She was commended as Elite Dancer by the Beijing Dance Academy twice, in 2015 and 2016.

Huang joined the Hong Kong Dance Company in 2017 and has performed in Tale of Three Cities, pas de trois in Dream of the Past: Ancient Chinese Court Dances, “8/F Platform”— Next, Waiting Heart, Liu San Jie, solo in Ode to the Silk Road, and principal roles in A Sea of Smiling LT Ducks and L'Amour Immortel. Huang was promoted to Senior Dancer in May 2019.

Graduated from the Chinese Dance Department of Guangzhou Art School in 2013, Hou Xuchen was awarded full scholarship to study at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA) in the same year, majoring in Chinese Dance. Hou represented the Academy on numerous overseas performance tours, visiting Canada, Germany and Korea, etc. He was awarded HKAPA's Dean of Dance Scholarship as well as The Margaret Zee Outstanding Performer Award.

After graduating from the HKAPA in 2017, Hou joined the Hong Kong Dance Company and has since performed in various productions including Lady White of West Lake, Four Seasons in Tale of Three Cities, Dream of the Past: Ancient Chinese Court Dances, solo in Fun Ride with Big Beard – Dancing Poems, Liu San Jie, pas de deux in Ode to the Silk Road, “8/F Platform”– Neon and Jing, and A Tale of the Southern Sky. He is also a researcher of HKDC's Research study on Chinese martial arts and Chinese dance.

Liu Wai-yee is born in Hong Kong. She graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts in 2014 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honors) Degree in Dance, majoring in Chinese Dance. During her studies, she was awarded several scholarships including the Disneyland Scholarship, The Ohel Leah Synagogue Charity Undergraduate Scholarship, SAPA Scholarship and the Grantham Scholarship. She was also invited to perform in Czech, Beijing, Shanghai and Macau. She joined the Hong Kong Dance Company in 2016 and also serves as Instructor at HKDC's Children's and Youth Troupes.

Liu has performed in different HKDC productions including, L'Amour Immortel, Chinese Hero: A Lone Exile, Storm Cloud, Kaleidoscope of Dance from Yunnan, educational performance Dance Appreciation - Aesthetic Appeal in Macau, Ode to the Silk Road, Waiting Heart, “8/F Platform” – Neon and Jing, and A Tale of the Southern Sky. She was the ensemble lead in Guli, performed at the Achievement Exhibition of the 11th Taoli Cup National Dancing Education Performance of China. She is also a researcher of HKDC's Research study on Chinese martial arts and Chinese dance.

Born and raised in Penang, Ong Tze Shen began dancing at the age of 13 and has participated in numerous competitions and performances since then. He received full scholarships throughout his four years at The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and graduated with First Class Honours in 2018. He joined Hong Kong Dance Company in the same year. Recent performances include the principal role in A Sea of Smiling LT Ducks, 8/F Platform – Jing and A Tale of the Southern Sky.

Ong has danced in a wide variety of festivals and productions. He performed solos in Zhang Xiaoxiong's The Homeland, Butterfly Lovers by Sheng Peiqi and Yan Xiaoqiang, Gao Chenming's Fortune and Yan Xiaoqiang's Autumn Thoughts. He choreographed Dating with D with Christy Poinsettia Ma and performed the work in 2017. He also produced the full-length dance theatre In The Amorphous Beings for the George Town Festival in Penang 2017 and took part in CAMPING 2018 at the Centre National de la Danse in Paris. He is also a researcher of HKDC's Research study on Chinese martial arts and Chinese dance.

Pan Zhenghuan graduated from the Beijing Normal University with a major in Dance in June 2018. During his university years, Pan was awarded the Beijing Normal University Scholarship and the National Grant. He also studied abroad as an exchange student in the School of Dance at Taipei National University of the Arts. He won the Outstanding Dancer Award multiple times at the Cross-strait Dance Exchange Showcase. Major performances include The Rite of Spring and Away From Hometown choreographed by Zhang Xiaoxiong, dance drama Universe produced by Beijing Normal University, Match Point at the 4th Beijing International Ballet and Choreography Competition and Xiao Xiangrong's work The Wall at the Kuandu Arts Festival. Pan joined the Hong Kong Dance Company in November 2018. Recent performances include Dance of Strings, L'Amour Immortel,8/F Platform – Jing and A Tale of the Southern Sky. He is also a researcher of HKDC's Research study on Chinese martial arts and Chinese dance.

Born in Hong Kong, Ng Ka-ling graduated from the Guangdong Dance School as well as the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, with a First Class Honours Degree. During her studies at the Academy, Ng received numerous scholarships and performed in lead roles in various productions. In 2017, Ng went to study at the London Contemporary Dance School and earned a master's degree in 2019. During her studies in the UK, Ng was invited by Yang Liping to co-choreograph and perform in Rite of Spring, a contemporary reinterpretation of the timeless Stravinsky ballet. She performed the lead role in its mainland and overseas tours from June 2018 to November 2019. Ng joined the Hong Kong Dance Company in November 2019 and has performed in L'Amour Immortel and A Tale of the Southern Sky. She aspires to create new works which incorporate vocabularies of classical Chinese dance and western arts.

Chou Jo-yun was born and raised in Taiwan. She graduated from Taipei Municipal Fuxing Senior High School, with a major in dance. She then majored in Chinese dance at The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, graduating in 2018. Chou studied under full scholarships and worked with numerous choreographers such as Zhang Xiaoxiong, Gao Chengming and Raewyn Hill during her studies. She participated in the dance project In the Amorphous Beings at the George Town Festival in Penang in 2017. Chou joined the Hong Kong Dance Company in 2018. Recent performances include 8/F Platform – Jing and musical A Tale of the Southern Sky. She is also a researcher of HKDC's Research study on Chinese martial arts and Chinese dance.

Chuang Chu-jou graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts with a degree with honours in 2017. During her studies, she won the HKSAR Government Scholarship, Dean's Prize for Dance and Dr & Mrs George Choa Memorial Scholarship, and performed in Seoul, Daegu and Beijing with the Academy. She joined the Hong Kong Dance Company under HKADC's Artistic Internship Scheme in 2019. Since then, she has performed in Dance of Strings, L'Amour Immortel, 8/F Platform – Jing and A Tale of the Southern Sky.

Huang graduated from Guangxi Arts Academy, majoring in Dance Performance and Education. He won the First Class Prize at the 4^th Guangxi Youth Dance Competition for his solo performance in Father.

He has performed major roles in the dance dramas Homes of Jing People and Liu Sanjie.  He has also performed in various cultural events, including the variety show celebrating the 65^th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China in 2014, CCTV's “Spring Festival Gala Evening” in 2016 and 2019, and the variety show celebrating the 25^th Anniversary of the Establishment of Dialogue Between China and ASEAN in Jakarta in 2016.  Huang joined HKDC in 2019, and has performed in Red Poppies and L'Amour Immortel.

Lin Zhengyuen joined the Shanghai Opera House after graduation from the Shanghai Dance School in 2001. He was admitted to the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts in 2005 with a full scholarship. He participated in the Sixth Taoli Cup of the Junior Category and his solo dance piece Sacrificial Prayers won the Outstanding Performing Award while the group dance Civic Wind achieved the Class Two award. He has also participated in various performances both locally and overseas. He joined the Hong Kong Dance Company in 2008. Performance highlights include solo in Dance Roots and pas de trois in Kaleidoscope of Dance from Yunnan.

Ho Gi Lam joined Hong Kong Dance Company (HKDC)'s Youth Troupe in 2011 and performed in The Achievement Exhibition of the 11th Taoli Cup National Dance Education Performance of China in 2016. She then studied at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA), majoring in Chinese Dance. She received several scholarships during her studies, including Chinese Dance Faculty Scholarship, A Cup of Hope Scholarship and Dean of Dance Prize. She has participated in numerous school productions, including Drum, Yellow Earth Yellow River (excerpt), The Snow and Thousand Lives. She performed in the Festival Juvenil Internacional de Dança in Macau with the HKAPA in 2019.

Ho joined HKDC as Apprentice in 2021, and is also an instructor with the Children's and Youth Troupes.

Chen Xiaoling graduated from the Guangdong Dance School (now Guangdong Dance and Drama College). She then attended The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts majoring in Chinese Dance.  She joined the Hong Kong Dance Company as Apprentice upon graduation from the HKAPA in 2021.
